A dedicated truck to Melbourne costs the same whether you fill it or leave two thirds empty. Backloading means you buy the space your furniture actually occupies on a run that was happening anyway.
Multiply the rate by your cubic metres and you have the base figure. Add-ons and the $350 minimum are the only other variables, and both are listed further down. All rates include GST.

Half of what we run is inbound. Return legs are priced on the same basis, and because they are the legs most operators leave empty, they are often the best value on the network.

A truck that has delivered one load and is travelling on with space left in it. Instead of that space running empty, your furniture fills it and you pay only for the cubic metres you occupy. Same truck, same crew, same care as a dedicated move — the difference is that you accept a delivery window rather than naming the hour.
A studio is roughly 8–10 m³, a one-bedroom 12–18, a two-bedroom 20–28, a three-bedroom 30–40, and a four-bedroom house 45 and up. Treat those as starting points — a two-bedroom with a packed garage will beat a tidy three-bedroom every time. Our inventory form gives you a real number instead of a bracket.
Yes, $350 per interstate booking. Below about four cubic metres it is usually cheaper to send items by pallet freight, and we will tell you that rather than take the booking.
Give us a seven-day window to deliver in rather than a fixed date and we take ten per cent off, because that flexibility is what lets us fill a truck efficiently. It cannot be combined with an urgent booking — those are contradictory requests, and asking for both just cancels the discount.
Tell us before the truck leaves and we will hold your furniture in storage in transit. It is charged separately, but it is far cheaper than a failed delivery and a second interstate run.
Transit cover applies to everything we carry, and premium cover is available as an add-on for high-value contents. Every item is listed and signed for at pickup and checked against that same list at delivery, which is what makes a claim straightforward if it is ever needed.
Tick off your rooms and you will have a real figure in about three minutes — no sales call first, no email address held hostage behind a number.
The essentials only. If you would rather build a precise figure yourself, use the full inventory form.
