Truck4U Removals (ABN 94 692 471 640) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and how you can get at it or have it corrected.

1. What we collect

When you use our booking or enquiry forms, or call us, we collect:

1. your name, phone number and email address;
2. the pickup and delivery addresses, property types and access details;
3. the inventory of items you intend to move, and any notes you add about them;
4. your preferred dates and any services you select; and
5. technical information sent by your browser, including your IP address, which we record against form submissions to detect automated abuse.

We do not ask for and do not want your date of birth, government identifiers, or any health or financial information beyond what is needed to take payment.

2. Why we collect it

To quote your move, to carry it out, to contact you about it, to issue an invoice, and to keep the records a business is required to keep. We also use aggregate, non-identifying information to understand which services and areas are in demand.

3. Marketing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. If we send you anything promotional it will only be because you asked for it, and every such message will carry a one-click unsubscribe. Submitting a quote request is not consent to marketing — it is consent to be contacted about that quote.

4. Who we share it with

Only where it is necessary to do the job:

1. Our crews — the addresses, access details and your contact number, so they can reach you and plan the job.
2. Our web and email providers — because your enquiry travels through their systems.
3. Our payment provider — if you pay by card. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
4. Building managers — where a dock or lift booking in your name is required to get access.
5. Our digital agency — AAA Digital maintains this website and receives a copy of form notifications so that broken forms are noticed and fixed.
6. Law enforcement or regulators — where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not disclose your information overseas other than incidentally through the standard email and hosting infrastructure described above.

5. How we store and protect it

Form submissions are stored on our hosting account in files that are not publicly reachable, and notifications are sent by email. Access to the administration area is password-protected and rate-limited. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurred that was likely to cause you serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

6. How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become bookings are kept for up to 12 months, in case you come back to us. Completed job records and invoices are kept for seven years, which is the period Australian tax law requires. After that they are deleted.

7. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies only where they are needed for it to function — for example to keep you signed in to the administration area. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email [email protected] or call 1300 130 686. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and if we refuse a request we will tell you why in writing.

9. Complaints

Raise it with us first — most privacy complaints are misunderstandings we can resolve quickly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be brought to your attention rather than made quietly.
